The Chainsmokers are the American Electronic Dance Music production team of Alex Paul, and Andrew Taggart, they formed in 2012, in New York City, New York, United States, when they tour they are joined by a third member, Matt McGuire.They have released three studio Albums to date, and had nine top 40 singles in the UK, including ‘Closer’ in 2016, which also made Number 1 on Billboard.Initially ‘Selfie’ was released as a free download, until it got the attention of ‘Dim Mak’ records, who gave it an official release.
