Black Box Recorder were an English Indie Rock group active between 1998-2010.The three members were Luke Haines (who claims to have invented Brit-pop,) John Moore ex Jesus And Mary Chain and vocalist Sarah Nixey.
England Made Me was also the title of their debut Album released in 1998.
They went on to record two further studio Albums,’The Facts Of Life’ in 2000 and ‘Passionoia’ in 2003,they also released a compilation of B-sides in 2001 called ‘The Worst Of Black Box Recorder.’
