Best Bit-At 2.42 where she goes from Romantic Ross to Disco Diana.
Motown records producer Hal Davis wanted Motown to keep up with the musical trends in the mid 1970’s,namely Disco.
Love Hangover was written by the Motown employed songwriters Marilyn Mcleod and Pam Sawyer.Diana Ross(see also best song 900) didn’t want to branch out into Disco but after hearing the finished version was persuaded.
The song was only ever going to be an Album track but after the 5th Dimension took their cover version into the lower reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 Motown boss Berry Gordy rush released the Ross version which went onto top the chart for two weeks in May and June of 1976.
