Marc Cerrone was born in 1952 in Vitry-sur-Seine near Paris and although not a household name is considered one of the most influential Disco producers of the 1970’s.
Supernature has an environmental theme,imagining a future in which the use of artificial chemicals in agriculture has caused ‘creatures down below’ to emerge and take revenge against mankind.
The lyrics were written by ‘New Wave/Post Punk’ artist Lene Lovich who achieved two top 20 singles in 1979 with ‘Lucky Number’ and ‘Say When.’The vocals were sung by unaccredited singer Chi-Chi Favelas.
