Cole Porter actually wrote this song in 1931 for the musical ‘Star Dust,’but it wasn’t used,instead it was introduced in the musical ‘Anything Goes’ and sung by Ethel Merman in 1934.
Over the years the song has become widely associated with Frank Sinatra who recorded his first version of the song for his 1954 Album ‘Songs For Young Lovers.’
