In 2012 the song was named the greatest ever single to peak at Number 2 in the UK in a poll carried out by BBC Radio 2 and the official Charts Company,(i have to disagree,i think that there are a few better which you will read about at a later date.)
Vienna was produced by Konrad Plank who had worked with Kraftwerk in the 1970s.The song was written by all four members of Ultravox.
