The Fat Larry’s Band were formed in 1976 in Philadelphia by ‘Fat’ Larry James who was a drummer and vocalist.He died of a heart attack in 1987 at the age of 38 and this led to the group splitting.Of the twelve past members of the group Bryan Hudson has been the most successful having worked with several household names.In 1990 he wrote the UK Number 1 single Do The Bartman for The Simpsons,the song was produced and also had backing vocals from Michael Jackson a big fan of The Simpsons TV programme.
