814-Black Sabbath-Paronoid.
1970-Number 4 single
Best Bit-At 1.00 I don’t know whether Ozzy Osbourne has ever had paranoia, but he’s had everything else.
This is one of the most influential songs of all time, paving the way for the future of Heavy Metal.Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi in his book ‘Iron Man,My Journey Through Heaven And Hell With Black Sabbath’ said he and Ozzy probably had no idea what the word ‘Paronoid’ even meant at that time. They left the lyrics to bassist Geezer Butler, they considered him the intelligent one.

815-Herb Alpert-This Guys In Love With You.
1968-Number 3 single.
Best Bit-At 2.16 He is a far better Trumpeter than singer.
By the time Herb Alpert came to record this song he was already an international superstar with the success of The Tijuana Brass and his joint ownership of A and M records The song was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, according to Bacharach the recording originated when Alpert asked Bacharach,’say Burt do you happen to have any old compositions lying around that you and Hal have never recorded.’.Alpert said he made it his practice to ask songwriters that particular question. The song became the first A and M recording to top Billboard, and Alpert is the only artist ever to have a Number one vocal and Number one instrumental when Rise topped the chart in 1979.
